MEMBER INFORMATION AND UPDATES
NOTE: This page will continually be updated so please check back regularly for updates on OPERATING STATUS.
The guidelines set forth by the State of Maryland and Carroll County Heath Department are hereby invoked upon Ridge Swim Club as of June 13, 2020 upon opening.
The following OPERATIONAL CHANGES ARE IN EFFECT until further notice*.

The Pool facility will operate at the recommended Carroll County Health Dept 1 person per 36sq’. This means our current maximum capacity is 174 people at one time (103 for main pool & 71 for leisure pool)
If the pools become hard to manage social distancing, it will be the Pool Manager’s discretion to further reduce capacity to assure proper social distancing is abide by
All Members will be required to sign-in daily
Pool capacity will be monitored by the pool staff. On weekends, members will be required to have reservations for one of three available shifts in order to control capacity.
11:00 am – 1:30 pm 1:45 pm – 4:15 pm 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
*NOTE: Members may only sign up for one time slot during the weekend to allow fairness to all members. An exception to this rule is members may call during a time slot and if not full, you will be able to still come/stay.
Guests will be allowed, but family attendance cannot exceed 6 including guests.
Families are responsible for their behavior and social distancing
The Baby Pool will remain closed
No SWIM DIAPERS will be allowed in the main pool. SWIM DIAPERS are allowed in the Leisure pool, but we highly recommend using plastic diaper covers
Bring your own chairs – no chairs/lounges will be provided
There will be no pool equipment available in the guards office this year (kickboards, noodles, basketballs, etc…) Please feel free to bring your own, but only to be used within your family, not shared to others
There will be no Lost and Found available. If you are missing something, please check with the guard staff.
Social distancing and mask wearing (when not in the water) when interacting outside your family members
Who should NOT use cloth face masks: children under the age 2, or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Pool deck will be sectioned off to promote social distancing, if the pool deck area is all take, overflow will be on the lawn area
Shoes are to be worn at all times in bathroom along with masks
The guard staff will be cleaning/disinfecting the facility on regular scheduled intervals. This will include cleaning & wiping down all doors/knobs, pool railings & ladders, microwave, vending machine, counters, bathrooms, etc…
Water fountain should only be used to fill water bottles
Picnic tables will be limited to only 6 people (3 each side). Please abide by the signs posted for proactive social distancing
Playground is open, but adult supervision required. Please make sure to disinfect and/or wash your hands regularly
If you are sick or have a fever, please do not come to the pool facility
RSC will have a ZERO tolerance to abiding by the guidelines set forth
