Pool Rules & Code of Conduct

Rules of the Pool:

  • Unaccompanied Minors
    Children must be 13 years of age or older to remain at the pool without a parent or legal guardian present.
  • Guest Supervision
    Guests under the age of 13 must be accompanied & supervised by an adult member age 18 or older at all times.
  • Running
    No running on the pool deck. Lifeguards have the authority to require repeat offenders to sit out.
  • Food & Beverages
    Food & drinks are permitted on the pool deck; however, this privilege may be revoked if abused. Please be respectful of fellow members & lifeguards. All trash must be disposed of in designated trash receptacles.
  • Glass & Alcohol
    • No glass containers are permitted anywhere on pool property.
    • No alcohol is permitted on pool property.
  • Deep-Water Swimming
    A deep-water test is required to swim beyond the rope in the 6–9 foot section of the Main Pool.

    • Successful swimmers will be issued a bracelet, which must be worn whenever using the deep end.
    • The deep-water test consists of:
      • Swimming front crawl across the width of the lap pool and back
      • Treading water for one (1) minute
    • Final approval is at the discretion of the pool staff administering the test.
  • Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs)
    Personal flotation devices are permitted only in the Mushroom Pool and Baby Pool.

    • PFDs must be U.S. Coast Guard approved and age- and weight-appropriate for the child.
  • Swim Diapers
    • Swim diapers are not permitted in the Lap Pool.
    • Swim diapers are allowed only in the Leisure Pool and Baby Pool.
  • Pool Toys & Equipment
    • Noodles may be used after 6:00 PM.
    • No inflatables are permitted in the pool at any time.
    • Balls and playing catch are not permitted when pools are crowded, at management’s discretion.
    • Watermelon balls and field balls are not permitted at any time.
  • Diving & Horseplay
    No flips, back dives, or suicide dives (diving with hands at sides rather than extended overhead).
  • Lap Lanes
    Lap lanes are reserved for members swimming laps.
    If a member is waiting to swim laps, others must exit the lane. Lifeguards will enforce this rule.
  • Smoking & Vaping
    No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on pool property.
  • Conduct
    Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or fighting of any kind will not be tolerated.
    Management reserves the right to eject any individual for disrespectful or disruptive behavior.
  • Chair Use
    Please be respectful of chair use and share chairs when the pool is crowded
